I softmodded my 1st wii like 3 or 4 yrs ago. Watched someone elses video that was this multipart hot mess of nonsense. Got a piano black wii about a year ago. Decided to finally get it set up as my daily wii driver. 21under 15 minute vid to soft mod it. Then another 7minut vid to imstall and get started with HB browser. You my friend are the man! Simple, clearly spoken and shown imstructions from start to finish with no BS. Inspires me to try my hand at making a tutorial. Nice work man

If you're watching in 2019 and it's not working, just leave the value at 0 and it should work. I had the same issue and fixed it.

Thanks for your comment, Matt! The Codemii website seems to be unavailable right now. Hopefully, it won't be too long before it is back up again. If you want to avoid the wait, then you can use this temporary solution I've come across. The Homebrew Browser can still be downloaded from an archive of the site made before it went offline. I have updated the video description to include this alternative link which you can use to download the Homebrew Browser.

So I recieved the same error. And I restarted and reinstalled, and nothing worked. I didn't find anything that would help me really, cause I'm not the most knowledgable coder/hacker. BUT...it DID work for me when I check my internet connection and it didn't look like it was working. I fixed the connection, reinstalled, then it worked just like the video!!! Hope this helps friends!!!

Just so u guys know if u format ur SD card that is 64gigs or more to FAT32 it works fine for installing homebrew i did it literally just now and everything worked great.

Check the SD card, There sometimes is a slider which changes the sd card from Read/Write to Read-only If it is on Read-only slide it over. I hope this helps.

Never mind! Don't get all specific and technical, and do what I did: try to rename the file to something more precise like "Homebrew Apps"; just stick with "Apps". Thanks for the tutorial!
