Thank you so much for your video. Our very first hurricane in Florida and we didn't know how to deal with the shutters. You have helped us to stay safe. 🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏

Thank You Mr. Chris for making this video especially for us widows. My husband passed away and I am having to learn how to do things on my own with no help. Your video has helped me so much. Thank You once again.

Thank you for posting this video. This is the first time I have ever had to deal with these and I would have done it wrong had I not watched this.

You neglected to discuss the mounting anchors.

I do not see the point of using the power drill to tighten the screws, that just extra work. They are driving the wingnut all the way in, just a couple of turns more by hand and they are tight.

Hwo do you install panel mates ?

Horizontal instead of vertical? Won’t the panels catch high winds? Possibly cause a increase pressure between the panel and window?

So it's ok to leave those sides open to the wind?

Is it possible to double the storm shutters by using two storm shutter sets on each window? Using two sets of the storm shutter would double the thickness of the metal storm shutters. I'm guessing that would increase the strength against flying debris that hits the storm shutters.

what do you do if you have a window ledge sticking out on the bottom by an inch or two? How would you install these panels in that situation? They seam to work well with a completely flat wall.
