I had to get longer screws for the upper ones on both sides. Original were too short to get a grip. Once I figured that out, installation went well

at 2:30 what is that little plastic piece called? its what he covers with the new mudflap, i took my mud flaps off and accidentally took off/destroyed the parts and i have no idea what they are called and if i could buy new ones if anyone could tell me what they are called i would be very grateful

SO do you prefer rubber mud flaps. They seem to be hard to find easy installs for the rubber version.

+Wayne Watson Rubber mud flaps are generally a universal fit so there will be modifications involved. If we have a 6" + lifted truck with 35" + tires we go for a rubber mudflap. If your vehicle has stock tires or a size larger with a lift less then 6" go with a custom molded mudflap. The custom molded mudflap will have a cleaner look.

+Andrew Daniels Ahh hem Take another look at the video. There was no drilling. I did however use a screw gun to remove and re-install the screws. Can see how that could be mistaken for a drill. Well, except for, that pesky #2 Phillips Head Bit in the end of it. lol
