I watched the video a couple of days ago. My Running Boards arrived yesterday. Just finished installing them on my 2016 Colorado z71. My husband just put mine on today, on my 2019 Colorado. They were easy to put on. There was no marking for driver side or passenger side. Didn't matter took us maybe an hour once we got started. I do recommend to have the tools needed close at hand as well as the bolts, nuts and washers.

Try these for the spring nuts. amzn.to/3vnrhTp I’m not sure on the bolt size. But once you get the spring nuts you can just buy some grade 8 hardware from a hardware store that fits.

I bought my Colorado from a dealership..the previous owner has OEM off road running board installed. I would like some opinions if i should sell the oem and buy these?

I would stick with the OEM Ones

Sorry I don't. And to be honest that flashlight was a POS! The batteries never lasted. I have since thrown it away because it died altogether. I am in the market for a new shop light. There are lots out there available for purchase.

I just acquired a set of used running boards from my neighbor. I've got all the hardware except those spring/clip nuts. Can I install the running boards without those?

No, you definitely need them. That's what the bolts thread into to hold the brackets into place. You should be able to find appropriately sized clip nuts at your local home center.

Ah dang. Sorry to hear. These boards I have on my truck are pretty inexpensive. Check them out on Amazon there's a link in the description.

Does anyone have issues with them bending a little on the fourth/back area? Mine do bend a little. Seems it would be easier for this to utilize all four holes.

I would agree that an extra bracket on each side would be well utilized.
