I bought these the other day to add to my SawStop table saw. I already had a set of the JessEm stock guides for my router table and loved them.
I always like to take a look at installation videos on KZbin before I do something and there was nothing but how to use videos on it about the product. As you can see with a little prep work and taking your time they are pretty easy to install.
JessEm #04301 $265.95 I bought it from Woodcraft.
It comes with two fully assembled stock guides.
30" track with T slot.
#10 Torx screw driver
#19 drill bit
8 #10 self taping screws
4/ 1/4x20 nuts and bolts to be used with a T track
instruction manual
If you would like to ask a question or would like a mikes wood shop sticker please e mail me your contact info to economyplmbg@aol.com
I hope you enjoy this video.
Thanks Mike

Great 👍 instruction. Thanks for that! Realizing how easy that was, I’m now scratching my head asking myself why I bought that 150 pound Magswitch pair to complement the Jessem guides? It’s as if the influence of all the videos was the standard when I find no videos explaining “why” these stock guides would interfere with fence jigs. Perhaps those multitude of woodworking influencers wish to sell their sawstop and want it in pristine condition when the gig is up on KZbin? Perhaps it’s the red sawstop label that would be obstructed on the fence during filming? I don’t know. But the solution is the problem here. I’m now convinced no current or future jigs I make would conflict with my Jessem clear cut guides. Your experience obviously shows well. More common sense videos like these please. Thanks again. We all are a sucker sometimes 😂

Thank you; you’re a life saver. Yours is the only video I’ve found that actually shows how to do the install. JessEm should just link to your video to clarify their instructions. Awesome.

Thanks for the tips! My installation went smoothly. And like you, I learn better by watching than reading.

From one Mike to another, I just want to say THANK YOU! I saw all those other videos showing the product, but I found the install instructions confusing. Your video really helped me out!

I've been all over You Tube looking at these guides and you're the first place I heard about the first hole being a drill guide for the second set of holes...thank you sir!

I was not going to subscribe until at the end when you broke out the Milwaukee tool. Your enthusiasm for tools is great and I share the same giddy happiness when looking at or using tools. Great job! (And thanks for the instructions on the Jessem)

You have more guts than I have. I was hesitant to drill into my sawstop fence so I used the alternate method of attaching the stock guide track to a piece of 3/4" MDF which is held on the fence by mag switches (and idea I ran across on KZbin). Works well and is very easy to remove/replace. Was afraid I wouldn't like it so didn't want to make the ultimate commitment! Having used the stock guides for about a year now I can say they are game changers . Perhaps it is time to make the installation permanent. BTW I also made a special push stick/block which is a piece of plywood about 3" wide, just under 1/2" thick and about 20" long. Perpendicular dowel provides the handle. Fits under the guides in most cases. If not I can usually turn it sideways and push the material through the cut.

Thank you so much for making this video. I have a hard time reading directions and the Jessem directions were so confusing. Without out your video it would of been a botched install. This made my day a heck of a lot easier. Owe you a cigar!

Mike, this is my first time ever watching one of your videos and I have to say that I was thoroughly entertained! You popped up in my “recommended” videos and I am interested in the jessem feed rollers for my saw, so I was willing to give you a watch. I love how raw your video was, not over edited or full of fluff. You moving the camera back and forth, fumbling a bit and even lighting your cigar cracked me up for some reason. Maybe because it showed that your just like the rest of us and you’re real. I say all of this truly as a compliment! You strike me as the type of guy I’d like talk to for an afternoon. Keep up the good work, I’m sure I’ll be sure to check out some of your other videos. Thanks!

Great Video! Like you I've not seen one video on installing the Clear cut. Thank you for a excellent instructional video. Also like the thread rod cutter. That is a great tool. Like you I've tried a lot of tricks to try to cut it without damaging the threads and having to "recut them".
