@@kevincab it was a massive help! Now I’m trying to figure out to get an FPV closest in specs to the Avata. I saw a Reddit post where someone said you can type the name Avata in the store. But they didn’t say which one?

For those who still have the problem. no need to have the drone, just get a windows computer from someone you know and download the assistant and update it and then go back to your mac. I was having the same problem and it works now.

how did you get the accessory thing to pop up I'm using a usbc dongle to usba for the controller and it still didn't recognise

Maybe your dongle is not good? Try a different kind.

I’m confused so the Mac dongle is connecting to a C type connector in back of your computer?

USB c to usb a dongle connected to Mac and use the cable that comes with the controller

@@philosopify7285 you don’t need to buy a cable from DJI. All you need is a usb c and usb a cable that can transfer data

I'm pretty sure you can’t. The motion controller is not for manual mode.

How do you fly in N mode with the DJI FPV? I bought Liftoff given the DJI Virtual Flight app is stuffed, but as it can’t work out how to fly in N mode it’s stopping me from using this.

You can’t fly normal mode on liftoff. You’re only able to play normal mode on dji virtual flight

@kevincab could you please share what graphic settings do you use and how happy you are with a performance? I try Liftoff on my Macbook Pro M2 Max (32 GB RAM) and it runs very hot and turns the fans to max...I`m wondering what kind of rendering engine do you use and if a V-Sync is on?

I run it resolution 1920x1200 120hz. V sync off. Quality beautiful. My Mac gets hot too but never had a problem.

I was wondering this too.Lift off works fine but for some reason lift off mini drones takes forever to load then when it does it’s so slow I can’t move it.I sent them my logs and said I am using legacy rendering but I don’t see it as a option.Support threw up their hands and said they couldn’t help.I have adjusted the settings half my resolution even.But this version of lift off works great.Anyone else with this issues that sees this any help would be appreciated

@@YozhinaYeah... so basically it isn't possible for the DJI controller to be used in sims unless it has been paired to a drone.. I spoke with DJI about it, they confirmed it, and the apparent workarounds on reddit didn't work for me.. I ended up returning the controller, getting a refund, and I intend to go down the non dii fpv route.

I did that on both my windows computer and my Mac and it didn't work.. DJI said something about this workaround not working anymore since an update. :(@@BatzOliveira
