Wow..this is the best most informative fpv and editing video ive seen.. Ive been into drones as a hobby for years and only recently took it up again after retiring early due to laziness. i worked at itv and bbc for 40 yrs doing sound and video editing. your advice is sage my friend... thank you and keep up the great work. ps..one i used to use when training new editors was Fx are amazing but they are like nukes...just cos you em dont mean you can use them too much !

I recommend either da Vinci in the beginning as it's free or possibly capcut as well as you can edit on the go on your phone

Very good advices! Thanks! On the Gyroflow website they suggest not to use ND filters and to shoot with higher shutter speed to avoid motion blur which can affect how the footage looks after stabilizing it in post. What do you think about that? Have you encountered any issues?

Thanks mate. I didn't know that they advise not to use Nd filters. I think it's more about having a higher shutter to reduce the motion blur so the software can work it's magic better. That's why I don't go below 1/100 if I can help it.

Yes definitely I always use gyroflow for any pro job such as real estate. Only would consider rocksteady if I'm just doing any freestyle that doesn't require gyroflow or if the shit required a more raw look than super smooth

Thanks! Depends. For slow indoor flying maybe 2-5 degrees. For outside proximity flying probably 10-15 degrees and for outside with lots of space and fast flying 25+ degrees

Haha depends on how much in a rush you are and what your budget is as the avata 1 will be selling quite cheap now after the release of the avata 2. If you're not in a rush and don't mind to pay extra for avata 2 then wait for avata 2 in my opinion

The avata is awful in normal and sport mode, you cannot do a fast yaw and fly backwards unlike other proper fpv whoops and then in manual is very skitty and way too fast even when trying to fly slowly.
