So basically you don’t even have to do them in order, you can just spin the motor over and torque each one once it’s in the open position?

I didn’t do it in firing order, and it’s been together a year now almost making 25lbs of boost at 7400 rpm and been good

@@boostedS10 okay okay 👌 I’m doing my AFM/DOD delete this week so I very much appreciate you taking time to respond to me. The torque sequence/ valve adjustment was the only thing worrying me about the whole job because I’ll be honest, I haven’t touched a cam in probably 15 years and the last one was on a 305 small block so this is all new to me. I must have watched 15-20 hours worth of people rebuilding the LS just so I’d get a feel of what I’m looking at.

You do not have to turn the motor every time you put a rocker arm on. I put them all on at the same time and run them down with a gun until the slack is out of them and then tighten them down by hand and then torque to 22 foot pounds. I have built hundreds of LS motors and never had a problem. Not sure where you got your info but it is not correct.
