When torquing down the rocker arms on the second pass what does turning the engine over 360 degrees accomplish? Is that just decompressing the valve springs so you can torque down the rocker arm with no tension on it?

Because one revolution of the engine gets you to the opposite vale in the firing order

Hydraulic lifter. no adjustment needed

Whenever you assembled the engine it should have been set a tdc then you just toss the push rods in make sure there seated then toss on the rocker arms your good to go

You mean rotate the crank '360' degrees, not 365. That's how many days are in a year. 360 in a circle

Then he picks it up off the floor just dips it in oil and puts it in. 2. The reason why you And any pro you watch, Doesn't soak the rockers and push rods. It's because you prelude your engine. You soak the lifters. 3. Ls rockers are non adjustable, That means this is the time you set lifter pre load and lash. You adjust by push rod length. Especially If you change cams and do not check this. Three things can happen. 1. You get Damn lucky. 2. You start your engine and it sounds like a tap dancing competition 3. Or you hang a valve, And get a nice little hole in your hypertect piston, or a bent Push rod in valve. 🤬

😂I got the tap dancing lesson cause I just tightened them down and I'm sure I mixxed my push rods up their all singing. I got to restart with new ones 😂
