Wow, this is so useful! Thank you for making such a great teaching tutorial! I now have the new IOS on my old 2015 mac pro! I i followed the process but only the disk utility part that i missed because it didnt pop up after restart. Willy laptop have any problem in the future skipping this process?

You can try to update, but I doubted Apple may disable the core app. I would use the core app to update instead from mac OS.

Now I have macOS 11 and a 2014, MacBook Pro 15 inch, and when I tried to install versions 14 and 13 both gave me an error in instead of starting the loading screen of the last step of the process. After restarting the laptop. should I install 12 first? Then 1314?
