Yes. Some people already have one or enjoy the faster flash rate or rather wire-in resistors. We make it optional to avoid charging for potentially unnecessary and unwanted items.

Just installed these on my 2022. Now, unless I'm newly colorblind, the brown wire referenced in this video is now black, however the rest of the colored wires remain the same.

You aren't color blind. The cable supplier had a really long lead time for our color choices when we were ordering wires/cables for the last batch. We had to either endure stocking out for a while or use the black instead of brown.

If I don't get a running light kit, do I just leave the blue running light wire unconnected?

That is correct. You can loop it inward and tape it off if you'd like.

Did you know that the front turn signal are the same as the rear so does mean i can do that to the rear?

You may have fit interference if you are installing these in the rear fender where the OE units mount.

What about a tail tidy? Mine worked with the O.E.M. signal tail light's which is the same as the front signal light's which I installed watching this video with cool green 💚 running light's. 😊

TBH, it does look better with the 85 cycles per minute flashing rate! The other rate is way too fast. But, some others might like that high flashing rate. Thanks for the video guide for the installation . Well done!

It is very possible that the signals will fit a Z300. We don't have that bike here in the USA to verify 100% but the OE signals are the same on that bike as the Z400. We have fit our Mech-GTR signals on z125, z400, z650, z900. I believe z300 is another one in this line that will work.

Can these lights be installed on the rear fender?

Technically they will fit the opening that houses them but I don't know if there is enough space internally in the fender to house them as they are quite a bit deeper than the stock ones.

No, the signals are always amber. The running light (accent light) is what you're selecting for color.

Not yet. We have to get the bike back in the shop to design new brackets so that they don't require modification to the bike. Our current ones for the Ninja 400 would fit but require modification to the plastic panels around frame mounting points.

The mechanical assembly will be the same. I am unsure about the main signal connectors. You would have to peek in under the headlight to see which signal connectors Kawi is using now. On some models of current Kawis they have switched over to a new style sealed connector on the rear signals. I have not seen them used in front signals yet but The 21 Z400 has not been at our shop yet so I can't know for sure. I would recommend seeing which front signal connectors you have on your bike before you make your purchase. If they look like what we have in the video then you are good to go with the original kit on our website that is linked in this video.
