Thank you so much for this video! You don’t know how much I needed your suggestion to practice!!! Even though I have wanted Sisterlocs for 5 years the price was an obstacle I could not convince myself to go for! JMO. And I did not want to rush into this process without a clue as to how to do it (I have plenty of that kind of experience 😆) Your video is the missing key that put it all into place! Now I need a video on patience. 😜 Or maybe you could suggest a video that shows installation on 3 inches of hair. 🤔🤣 Either way... Thank you so much!

How do you prevent interlocking too tightly? I’ve started trying to interlock my locs started with twists and I’ve found that some of the interlocking is so painful that I have to take it down. Am I doing it too tightly? When should I stop?
@fenetiwoman6 жыл бұрын
Well, there are different interlocking techniques, there is the 4pt, 3pt or 2pt rotation. Each one depends on your texture of hair. Maybe you should reduce the rotation. Also the tool you use is important, most people say the latch hook is painful, so try using the correct loc tool like, a wool needle, o'locker or easy loc tool. Hope this helps you.

It's almost like how you knot crochet hair. The difference I see is that it's knotted 4 times with the weave pulled thru 1time on each side of the section of hair that's being worked with and the knotting starts at the bottom of the hair instead of the top. Just switch the weave with your hair and imagine your doing single crotchet braids in my explanation if that makes any sense?! The way she's doing it is the same with the tool I noticed also, just some work faster with the tool and vice versa.🤔😣😣 sorry if I just made you more confused🤣
