I’m about to look through your vids after I hit subscribe but will ask anyway, do you have vids with similar detail and explanation on how to fix thinning spots in your locs w/ that needle tool? Thxs 🥰🙏🏾

This is helpful. The issue I’ve had with my starter locs is picking up strands of the neighboring loc when I’m interlocking. I created two different connected locs. I have popped a few strands here and there but I think I need to grab the scissors to fix this. Any tips for fixing or preventing this? Thanks.
@fenetiwoman6 жыл бұрын
Nicole Jean oh yeah, that happens to me as well, sometimes I manage to reverse that rotation but in worse cases, I alow it to grow out, then I cut those strands. I make sure I wrap the strands around the loc before re-tightening and I try to clip my locs apart as much as possible. I may have to mention this in the future.

Great video. Creating hole is one reason why I am afraid to self retighten. Any tips for keeping track of direction?
@fenetiwoman6 жыл бұрын
Thank you Saundra Naughton I just always know that I never end piercing from down to up (6 o'clock to 12 o'clock) so if I don't remember where I ended, I just start from there. Hope this helps 😊
@biancagoodman8606 жыл бұрын
Im extra late and feneti did answer the question. But I was doing some of mine earlier and I make sure to end the loc either with pulling thru the top or the bottom, that way no matter what I can start retightening from the side and wont get a hole. I started my interlocs going counterclockwise starting at the 3. So, I'll flip the piece (my)right, down(towards my body), then (my) left, and up (away from my body). So with it ending with the loc going up I know I'll go sideways the next time. If I only make it to the down spot and I can't do anymore I'll leave it.

I have locks for 1 month, my loctician interlocked my hair and she did it in the wrong way, so i have gaps at my locks' root :( In your opinion can i crochet the gaps with a basic crochet" or should i wait to do what you've showed in this video?

That's really hard to judge without seeing any pictures. As you can see, I used a modified wool needle, I am not familiar with a crochet. Glad this tutorial was helpful to fix your locs.
