Thanks for this! Im about to start mine but i already have traditional locks. So im going to do it in sections so I dont have to take my locs down at one time. Cant find any videos showing my type of situation. People usually take their locs down first.

You did a wonderful job! My only question is were you plating them to begin and then 2 strand twisting them? Or did you twist them all the way down?

She started with braid then two strand then she braided the ends to prevent unraveling. The root and ends are braided.

My question is in the beginning of microlocs I always loctitians do a two strand twist. At what point does the twisted portion get loced? What’s the process for that?

In my experience with locs it can take 3-6 months for middle section to loc up. It depends on how often you wash and manipulate your hair. My back portion loc faster than front portion.
