I planned mine out almost a month in advance. I installed 15 Jumbo knotless braids for the Beyoncé concert & left for 2 weeks. I washed my hair inside the braids the day before I got ready to install. Labor day weekend came and I worked braid by braid until I finally finished...2 days & a half with 220. I'm so pleased & cant wait for them to start maturing❤

@@SassShea I don't have the patience to count, but I took your idea and she was so happy that she didn't have to sit. I did large braids, but put them in bantu knots. Each day I took out a row and after I twisted I put it back in a knot. It took us about 3 days. I braided a little at the top and did 2 strand twist. So far, she's loving them. Mostly because of the parting she is able to still style it like she could when it was loose. Now im hating because my locs are as versatile.

Girl it is protective season over here!! I decided to do mini twists this year & I followed your grid idea. It was definitely a game changer!! I found myself working faster & counting down the boxes. It took me 4 evenings doing my hair for 2-3hours each evening to finish my whole head. I plan on leaving the twists in until after New Year's. Washing & re-twisting as needed. I did my twists the last week of Oct 2023, looking forward to ringing the New Year with my mini twists!! Thank you for the great videos

This is my first time hearing of this technique. I don’t recall seeing a video for sister locs, but I have been two-strand twisting my hair since 2006! It’s my go-to for the summer. 👍🏽 I’m really interested in seeing the results as it grows, because what I’m picturing, is two different textures from the beginning stage until it grows out…

Hello. I am a beginner and want to become a professional microloc consultant. I have one client so far and I’m interested to know what we should do after installation once two strand twists unravel at the ends? My client has low density hair and I used the interlock method at the base to secure the locs. Should we leave the ends as they are and let them mature over time or should I continue to twist when it’s time for a retie, or should I try interlocking from the ends back up?
