Just a quick note that some mods will require you to APPLY the mod after the INSTALL MOD option in the ME Tweaks Mod Manager

How do I stop steam from verifying the game files and thus removing the modded content? It does it every time I launch and then it says "Apply mod" again.

@@WeirdoOreonLyricsVEVO55 The Import feature on the Mod Manager only extracts the mods from its extension: zip, rar, 7zip. Etc, to the Mod manager mod library path. For example, LE1 mods will go to : ( where the mod manager root location is / mods/ LE1 on this case. It will just be the extracted files, and from that, you have to Apply that said mod in Mod Manager, so it will be installed. If you dont apply mods to any of the games, it is like you are just having a mod installer and nothing will change into your game.

The mod that allows you to take all of the resources of the planet in Mass effect. 2 at once with one probe is so awesome say it is so tedious doing it. And I scanned every planet to get it to poor level. Every planet I have done before doing any of the main quests. This mod will revolutionize my playthrough and Mass effect 2 and greatly decrease my play time. Once I get a good PC and what not, I can get all these mods. Especially the graphic overhaul one these mods will change my gameplay and I am looking forward to it

It is not necessary at all. If you don’t mind reinstalling your game if anything goes wrong with the modding, then you don’t need to back anything up

I actually was able to download the mod manager on the steam deck and import the mods into it. The only problem is i cant find the game when adding the target. Im really stuck now.

I’m not entirely sure how it would work on steam deck as I have little experience with them, but you would need to find where ever the game is stored on the steam decks drive. You can usually find this in the game manager in the steam library.

I've never owned a steam deck so unfortunately I have no experience in that department! I doubt you can mod games on the steam deck that aren't steam workshop compatible though.

I would do one of 2 things. Either make sure both the game and manager are on the same same drive and that the manager is looking in the right place. And if all else fails, reinstall both.

So once you have it downloaded and extracted into your ME3Tweaks Mod manager and it's in your mod library you don't have to do anything more and that mod and its effects will be in the game, right?

Do exactly what I do with ME3Tweaks in the video and you should be fine. Also read the mod descriptions to make sure it’s ME3Tweaks compatible. For example, some texture mods aren’t compatible with ME3Tweaks

I’m actually not sure if modding this game on a steam deck is even possible. All of the mods for mass effect legendary edition come from Nexus mods and not the steam workshop. I don’t own a steam deck myself so I’m not sure of its modding capabilities
