Thank you for mentioning my mod list and explicitly stating, that it is now outdated. It is very unlikely I will ever update it and will most likely delist it in the near future as I was asked to do so by many mod authors. If anybody is willing to continue updating it, I obviously don't mind. Also, it wasn't mentioned in this great video, but my favorite mod last year was 'LE1 Power and Talent Overhaul' which adds powers from LE2 and LE3 to Mass Effect 1. It is a technical marvel and took like 3 years to make. Furthermore, if you ever make more MELE mods related videos, don't feel ashamed to contact mod authors directly about their mods. They are very nice people and will sometimes share some insights on their future projects and maybe even give you access to pre-release versions.

Mass Effect is a masterpiece, but it is a bit slow in the beginning. It gets a lot better once you finally get your space ship and leave the citadel.

ME1 has always been my favourite of the trilogy by far. It just has a different vibe and feel to it, more of a sci-fi slant than the badass action stuff that started with ME2 (and its weird choice of a plot). It's nice to see that ME1 hasn't been neglected on this front. If I ever replay the game, I'll be sure to use at least some of the mods from this list, especially those two last ones; those just seem like shoe-ins!

Same here! I love the characters of 2 and the action of 3 but 1 is definitely my favourite, it nails the sci-fi unexplored galaxy vibes. And you should definitely give it a replay at some point, for some reason I found my replay of the trilogy to be much more enjoyable than the first time

I'm simply amazed at the modding community... all is brilliant stuff, and taking time to restore DLC is crazy. My only, "pause" is with regards to Talis helmet. I personally believe that IF we csn see too much of her/any Quarians face that it'd then break the lore as in Ascension, Quarians helmets are clearly non-transparant..perhaps even reflective and possibly' frosty'. Maybe this can be explained away in that "the wearer may *adjust how reflective the facia* is at will. " though - said in the voice if tge Codex...? 😉 Anyhow, I appreciate you sharing, thank-you

DXVK does support HDR. Just enable it through Environmental Variables under Advanced System Settings by creating variable "DXVK_HDR = 1".

every game loses just about all its mods to time.. people need to be allowed to share fully modded zipped games.. there needs to be a resilient platform for this!

This is not feasible in any way. In Mass Effect's case you'd have to store hundreds of terabytes because for every variation of mod combinations you'd be storing 100GB per variation. Mod preservation works if the hosting website has a functional business model and popularity that keeps it sustained far into the future and mod authors that either just don't remove their mods when they decide to no longer support them, open up permissions for others to copy and improve or maintain or others who they trust whom are still active in the scene or hand it over to an official open source account where anyone can take any mod that is attributed to that account and continue its support or development without making a separate mod page like there is on NexusMods.

Sure it’s from the end of the game but it’s a 3 second clip with no context at all. I doubt anyone who’s never played the game would pick out anything that would be a spoiler
