Thx for the guide PQ. Informative and helpful as always. I would like to make a note though, that for those who may be playing on a 2k(1440p) screen at 100% UI scaling, PQ's settings for the Battle Expert mod work perfectly.

My monitor size is 2560 x 1410. I had to set the co ords to -850 +340. Hope this helps.

why is my battle expert overlyed on the default navigator? is there a way to get the navigator to disappear?

Ive recently usrd the navigator mod Im terrible at angling it hellped me alot Especially the camos mod where it shows the benefits of camos and sorts them Neat stuff

OH i dont use Aslain, i do use the official world of warships mod station, so everyone knows world of warships has its own mod station that gets automatic updates and has alot of cool mods.

Modstation is so much easier for me. Aslains mod always caused me problems

Yeah thats what i use too, is so simple, and gets automatic updates, maybe ( dont know) does not have all aslain mods but has some good ones, for me i use the timer when i shoot and get spotted, have one where i can change the minimap, what circles appear, gun range/torp range/detec range for example and its colors. Then i have one that i MUST HAVE where i change the players UI in the left and right of the screen where appears concelment of the ships with perks and if that ship has hydro or RADAR and its range, i dont have all the knowlege about all ships so this helps me alot, even knowing what ships have torpedos. Have some mods in the dock screen for winrate of all my ships, to display permium ships in the teck tree (realy good), have one for camos too and another to make so i dont use doublons when i dont want.

Same here, was an Aslain user but now reverted to Modstation. Personally, its not about what mods that the other have, its about convenience of use.

Yes! I know you probably had this planned for a bit but I would like to think my request on your last video put it over the edge. I hope this works on the steam version but I wanted to move away from the mod station and it's more hit or miss mods, especially after patches.

acuatlly thank you for letting me know there is another mod, I thought the modstation is the only mod in this game which I had a erro for at least a year so I was stuck playing the game with no mod

Would be nice the ribbons would scroll differently. I can see some of them due to some popping up too fast and gets blocked by the team line ups.

I uses mod station because I am lazy... And generally speaking you can find most of the mod on mod station, or at least the alternatives.

How did you get the default navigator to disappear? My battle expert is overlayed on top of it.

Check out modern nonogram green cross hair. It's a dynamic cross hair based on speed and not shell travel time.

I wish I could just put Aslain’s mods into the official mod pack. It’s so fucking annoying to have to redownload Aslain’s mod pack every time a hotfix or something comes out.

Or an auto-updater. Does what ModStation does and installs to a directory, then grabs updates and installs them to the same directory for you.

Both use the exactly same mods. Modstation just verified a bunch of them to ensure they are "safe" and not considered a potential cheat. Aslains has a wider variety of mods though. If you use only the basic mods, no fancy ships skins and such, then Modstation is fine and easier to use.

Just looked went to the game today to see that mods will be restricted on May 22nd and accounts could be banned if you're using mods which mods are we allowed to use and which ones are we not allowed to use will I get in trouble for using this mod?

Everything in Aslain's Modpack is explicitly safe. Everything in ModStation is explicitly safe because ModStation itself is sanctioned by WG.

Greetings mates! Help!! Please! I (we) need the help of a WoWs Modstation expert apparently. It should be simple really, but has turned difficult, maybe new admins there?? Might be a bit of a reward?? :-) Anyway... 4 years ago our Clan USNR (NA) did one of those clan icons for Modstation on the battle screen. You've seen them. It was actually pretty easy that 1st time, even for a non-geek like me. The 1st pic is our current one. But....after 4 years and a pretty big turnover in clan members..."the leaders" want a change. The desired new one is the 2nd pic. I thought..."no sweat", was simple the 1st time. WRONG! I have the new one done. I have been appointed CO 3 times and done the change-out then upload of the NA Modtstaion zip file 3 times. Not working. The old one is still there. I have gone on the Forum about 6 times in the last month for help...the moderator or admin keeps saying..."It's in the Client, you can do it yourself". So, I spent 6 hours last night trying to change the icon in the Modtstation client...and guess what? You can do that within the Modstation GUI, but as soon as the game hits the server, the old one comes right back. So I give up! Does anyone (not laughing their butts off) know how to teach this old dog a new trick? Please? Or...perhaps know how to get the Modstation admins to respond with coherent instructions??? Thank you so much to ANYONE willing to help. Yes, I am well past 65 and NOT the best at this sort of thing. But...if it helps, I AM a WoWs long-timer since BETA and have over 532 ships in port! ⚓ Help an old salt out please? Thank you!!
