New panels really improved the appearance of the inside of your beast. Looking fantastic

Totally agree, this should have been one of the first upgrades I did.

Thanks! I love cheap and easy fixes that seem to do more than the few bucks I spent on them. :)

For future reference....this is a GREAT time to do preventative maintenance and lubrication to the regulators, and aligning/adjusting tip in etc... Door panels and seat back panels are almost my kryptonite.

You are correct. However, I did that less than a year ago in a previous video. I checked everything out while I was in, she got a clean bill of health. :)

I have not looked but I wonder if there are any panels you can buy that are not made from that cardboard material... :)

I think there are fiberglass panels, and even carbon fiber units. I just found out a guy used magnets to hold his panels on! That's way better than the stupid clips we have to use. I wish I would have known about those magnets before I did these panels. :)

@@AndyKruseChannel hahaha oh cool. Yeah it’s usually how it goes when working on project cars. Hahaha I just did the distributor cables and if I would done a little bit more Google I could of cut them so that they would look a lot more aesthetic but oh well.

What do you do if the snaps brake off the original panels? My panels are in good condition. Just a couple snaps ripped out of the backing.

I had that same problem on my previous Mustang. I was afraid to make it worse, so I just left ones off where the cardboard was broken. However, I was thinking of gluing them to the door card (with gorilla glue or something), let it sit over night, and then slap them in. There's probably a better way to deal with it, but I haven't really looked into it. Good luck!! :)

Well I’m finally able to get indoors out of that heat and watch your video today very interesting my panels actually are brand new like I was saying just need one now to resolve window alignment’s roll up issues and locks just had to order a new vented gas cap because the other one is just totally shot. Also I dropped my car off at this guy who used to have a show class 66 to get all the electrical taken care of I said I don’t care what it cost to get that thing electrically good please so once I got that I’ll try to install sequential LED lights the right side work but the left side was dead but there’s a lot of issues on that left side with the headlights so, also used your video for installing my steering wheel walnut steering wheel and horn button but unfortunately the tabs which actually work on the old born coming up a little short on the new adapter so I know the horn works but it doesn’t work because the two probes are falling short I may have to add like some copper wire to the tip or something I don’t know doesn’t matter I don’t usually blow my horn at anybody anyways, watch For finger
