Did you notice that there wasn’t really enough slack for the wires from light to light? I couldn’t tie wrap them properly so they’re not showing near the windshield. I would prefer there was enough slack to secure them properly under the hood
@modXELA2 ай бұрын
@@savg1540 good point but I actually prefer it a little tight just like that even with my Gastr fully extended they’re just enough slack. it’s a small gauged wire, it will be flapping quite a bit if it’s loose.

Well that seems to be pretty straight forward and they look great on your Tacoma, great video sir. I noticed you have hood shocks, I`ve been wanting to put those on my Tacoma, do you have a video on the install and where did you purchase them from, I feel lost since I cant get stuff from the US because of the closures, they either dont send the item to Canada or they charge you a fortune for shipping.

Hey Vin, here's my video on the hood struts installation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/npuUqJKBmZp8Y80 It's a Lift by Spiker Engineering that I bought from Runnin4Tacos for US$95.. Problem with Runnin4Tacos is they use UPS to ship. UPS always charge customs and brokerage fees and I ended up paying an extra US$40 which is a rip off. Try buying it from Spiker Engineering directly and ask the to ship it using FedEx International. Hope this will workout for you my friend!

Hi, hows the nilight pod lights you installed holding up to right now. Is it worth the price? Or too cheap. I found the harness to cheap also that it makes me wonder if it has a good quality. Anyways , hope you can share your reviews. If you have good one then i might try this brand also. Thanks
@modXELA Жыл бұрын
Hey @ivanalo580, sorry for the late reply. Anyway, the unit is holding up well and still functions the same as when I first installed it. No issues with the any of the components (switch, wiring, etc) so I can't complain. Realistically for me, this suits me just fine as I normally don't hit the trails at night (only done it once) so I can't really justify the higher end counterparts. This worked when I needed it so it's good enough for my needs. Thanks for tuning in! =)

@@hectornavarrete766 I haven't done a video on this one in particular as I couldn't find the switch for the life of me. I got it 2 weeks ago but misplaced it. Hey Hector, combine the green and white Wires (connect both to the Whiteside on the harness), it goes to the positive via the relay. One will basically light up the ditch lights and the other will illuminate the switch. The rest is straight forward, red to red, black to black. I hope this helps.
