That hose won't inflate ,it will fully collapse and cause issues..replace it with heater hose ,it's much more rigid

sorry if it's a stupid question but why use a catch can when you can just use a hose that goes through the engine room to the ground? ECU errors? or Legal problems? Thanks

I would guess it could leak onto important parts on your car, can could be extremely messy. After all it’s a open hose with no pressure whatsoever

No issues in terms of function. But when I removed the oil in the container, the baffle portion was unscrewed. Maybe it was not tight when I installed works great!

N14/N18 without alarm system don't have the hood lift detection sensor/switch that is described. I installed this switch when I retrofitted an alarm into my car.
