So i have a Samsung S24 here model SM-S921W basically canadian version with CSC - XAC but what i want is to change that to SM-S921U1 basically US version with CSC - XAA but when i tried flashing it using odin it says security error and i had to flash XAC to get the device working again. @@bsgtechi The thing is i want to use Jio 5G on it in India but since the phone has a Canadian firmware it doesn't support it since Jio only works with Indian smartphones or unlocked phones which are normally allowed in U1 devices

you need to find compatible regional rom which ticked all boxes, such as 5G with background app limit and designed for your region, put your model number and add your country at the end before you search on XDA

I use pakistani Samsung A32, but I want to install indian firmware because it has voice call recording. The problem is that the baseband number of my device does not match with indian firmwares for samsung A32. What if I download and install a firmware which is not similiar to the baseband number of my device?

Don’t do that stick to stock for another year or so , custom rom means you are open source and though it has nothing to do with Os except tweaks and better UI but once you install that you will never stick to one rom , let it sit as it’s quite new model , try custom rom on older gen devices such as s20-21 and see how you find it , I am sure your device has Android 14

hi, turned out that the hong kong version works perfectly here in italt so i didnt actually try to change it, however i remember asking someone about it ant they told me it isnt actually possible because the model number isnt compatible ps: apparently HK models can only be flashed with taiwan and china firmwares, anyways if you want to be sure you can check on a firmware site if your model is compatible by typing in your model number

I will try to flash indian rom on australian s 22 ultra (SM-S908E). Would it erase the data and bring it to factory as well ? What are the chances that the frequency bands won't work after flashing and then won't be able to use australian network ?
