Nice tip and demonstration on using the Rockler clamps. When there is a handle on the front of the drawer, I drill the hole(s) for the handle through the drawer front only, place the drawer front in position, then drive a screw from the front through each hole for the handle into the drawer. I then pull the drawer open and secure the drawer front to the drawer by driving screws from the inside like you did. I then remove the screw(s) from the handle hole(s), drill through those hole(s) from the front into the drawer and mount the handle. This eliminates the need for the Rockler clamps.

MikeBramm I have used your technique many times in the past but the Rockler drawer front clamps drastically speed up the process. Especially when doing a full kitchen or house.

Thanks for this!! Oh my gosh! I have been installing my drawer fronts in my head for months trying to come up with the magic formula. This is what I needed.

This is a very informative video. I was at a loss of how to control all the dimensions, and most home improvement projects are easier with the right tool!

Nice tip, the way I do it is clamp a straight edge to the side of the cabinet where you want the faces to line up to, then place D/S tape on the fronts of the draws, place the bottom draw front on in line with the straight edge then push, it sticks tot he tape, open draw and screw on, do the same for the draws above but place packers on top of the bottom draw to the height you want the next draw and repeat, draw fronts are all lined up and go on quite quick 👍👍🦘🦘

Short and well-explained! It would have been informative to learn a technique that didn't require buying special clamps. I guess carpet tape might work, but not nearly as adjustable as clamps

@Stein-Erik Dahle ... so you don’t share how you use unique tools and equipment with anyone? I appreciate knowing who makes handy items. Sounds like you have some ace to grind.

@@dwighthapeman6590 , of course, that's a large part of what I do, managing a makerspace. The video title should mention that this is a demonstration of a specific tool and not just a way to do this with standard tools.
