How to install pickups to a preamp.

I wondered what I was doing wrong when I was attempting to solder in new pots. Turns out that the "Let it air dry, don't blow on it" is something most people who are teaching "soldering 101" don't feel the need to specify. Thanks for that. Really appreciate the detailed instructions, and importantly for me, the "why" of every step.

That's how I say it as well. More like "sauder" or "saw-der" if you will...either way it gets the job done. I'm looking at this vid cause I may buy a bass project that needs all pups,pre,strings and bridge on to complete it. This is very informative and my bass is going to be awesome. I'm using bartolini pups with a Bart pre and a hipshot bridge. And my favorite strings.. Rotosounds.(:

Yes, sodder is how it's pronounced in the states.

Why do Americans continue to call a Soldering Iron, a Soder Iron.? its quite irritating. The English dictionary (which is where you get your language comes from) pronounces/spells it Solder. Thats how it is spelt.
