Nice installation. Why did you stop back buttering an inch from the edge? This looks like it could create voids where the tiles join. Curious because I always do the entire surface area of the tile.

Thank you for paying attention how the installation is done. Please watch that videokzbin.info/www/bejne/in_If6SZhtxnhtE we always walk on the freshly install tiles 4.09 min you can see clearly what's happening under the tiles when you step on them that makes 100% bonding. You can do that on the tiles in size 24x24"or 60x60cm and up... When tile leveling system is on in this example T-Lock perfect system for that.

yea bt you didn't answer the ?? & the other vid does not say why you left one inch off of thin set .thank you .

i will answer if i may, edge is critical almost as critical as corner here thy install clips that is now easier for one two they are installing into medium bed thinset mortar when you combine the backbutter with the spread on the substrate their is a considerable amount of cement also notice the viscosity the tiles cannot be lifted once bedded the rack is to place the tile, the tile itself is always moving downward thus collapsing the ridges the air between the ridges escapes through the sides as contact progresses, old guy like me i put X in middle that way edge always secure and i get squish all the way around and let us toast white thinset while we are here
