practically, I never would have any joins behind a wall and an engineer would probably have to clarify that by seeing the whole pipe...but that's just a guess

I have no idea but if your van is from UK, i assume it only has to conform to UK rules.

Is there any rules about fitting gas box near electrics? I have electrics by wheel arch and wanted gas bottle cupboard at the back by the doors with cable above the electrics?

In theory, the gas is totally isolated when it is the sealed gas locker so there shouldn't be any issues. Just don't run any cables through the gas locker :)

Do you use gas ptfe on the olives or jointing compound?

no the only place that you use gas safe ptfe is where it was used in the video. Don`t forget to use copper olives

You don't need to be gas safe registered to instal lpg in your own vehicle,and you only need it certifying if you intend a commercial use of vehicle ie renting it out,but it is advisable to have instalation checked by a gas safe engineer.
