It says Error "No module named 'startup'" I'm using Maya 2022 though, could this be a problem? One more thing, I have Blender installed in my machine, would it by any chance interfere since it has its own Python directory?

Maya 2022 forced many developers to tweak their scripts. My suggestion is to double check if Red9 already supports Maya 2022.

@@blakegt.7326 If you rename Red9's main folder to "red9", place it in the script folder of maya, and run " import Red9 Red9.start()", it should work. I've just tried it in Maya 2022.

Hello and thankyou for all your tutorials. I was going to ask if you could do a tutorial on how to set up AnimSchool Picker on my own rig....it looks like a very usefull tool but they only describe how to set it up on their own rigs....I think this would help quite a lot of people ....it would be much apreciated, thanks

What if I want to copy the keys from a pre-animated Mixamo character to another mixamo character (rig).? I tried it but when I hit Copy Keys an error shows up saying that no nodes were selected..

Hey I need help, after I imported it, now the copy,cut, paste function doesn't work, it just saves the scene as a group in the same scene. I've tried uninstalling maya and now I can't work properly.

Hi Andrea. Copy and paste does not work in Maya the way it does in other software. In Maya it will give you the group you have mentioned. In Maya, you can perform traditional copy paste operations within the graph editor and render setup windows, for instance, but not in the viewport. For the viewport you should use CTRL+D to duplicate (or edit>duplicate special). If you are trying to copy paste keys on the timeline, you must right click on it and copy and paste from the menu.

Hi, I don't have access to Maya 2023, yet. Does it not load all together or does it load but when you run a certain tool it gives you this error?

@@animationpandemic I unzip files, move their content to the Maya/scrip folder as explained in the instructions (also tested moving them to the specific maya version script folder), then I start maya, copy past the text to python (import curveRecreator curveRecreator.StartUI()) Then I press enter and I get the error, also testes moving that text into my shelve, it also doesn't work, also tested pressing the arrow key on python, nothing seems to make it work

Hi sir. Thanks for the tutorial. I downloaded the vision for Maya 2022. Hi there, I did a test, and the message means you have not set the mirror index on one of the two controls you are trying to mirror the pose for. You have to open the mirror setup and add the relevant ID.

Is there an advantage to using Red9's mirroring vs Studio Library's?

I think only when Sutdio Library fails mirroring the pose, and one finds no solution to the problem. Also, red9 has the tracking feature, which is useful to fix sliding feet.

Also, Red 9 can mirror custom attributes, which I think SL can't.
