use magnets to hold the belt on pulleys until tensioned Put used belt under seat for emergencies.

I appreciate the video but I can't get the new belt to slip under the idler pulley. I have the tensioner maxed out but the AC Delco 6K956 I bought for my 2000 Chevy Astro seems too short and I had no problem getting the old Gates 6PK2425 off. I have it seated on all other pulleys but no go. Very frustrating.

Make sure you routed the belt correctly

@@shaunboi289 I did finally get it slipped under the idler pulley (actually my sister did that while I was maxing that tensioner out).That older Gates belt must've been really stretched. No more squealing yeah!
