I bought C&C Generals and Zero Hour on Origin and I installed it and the patch to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour and it didn't work. I also applied the patch to that same file and it didn't work. When I tried to start it up through the launcher, it told me to choose between playing Generals or Zero Hour, and I tried Zero Hour. It just started vanilla Zero Hour, and I tried the same with Generals but it just starts vanilla Generals as well. Does anyone know how I can get this to work/why this doesn't work?

I re installed ZH and then the RPTR mod but now it start normally and after 10 seconds it goes back to desktop and the icon of ROTR stays displayed in the taskbar. I'm really disappointed coz I'm in a hurry to play this awesome looking mod!!! HELP PLEEEEEEEASE!!!

Wow i run the rotr.exe n installed it , but in my desktop there isn't new icon, and still , in my zerohourfolder , there is rotr launcher . I click on it , launch rise of the reds , and it's the usual zero hour without any mods ... why ? I'm using The First Decade ...

Thanks for the video. Sadly, I can't play online though. Used Hamachi and Comodo and the Lan Lobby would always be empty. I tried doing a full re-install, it didn't work. No errors or anything. Forever alone on favorite game.

Hello SWR Prod !! I have installation issue, i followed the installation procedure posted on the SWR website but still i can't lauch the game. It says that it has been installed in a wrong folder!! I use the first decade version, so it's the 1.04 patched version. Can you please tell me where can i paste the files to the good folders. (.big , . gib , .dll...) as well as for the 1.802patch and the Mappack. I thank you in advance coz i can't wait to try this mod!!

The only problem with it is that when booting origin asks you which game you want to launch and that overwrites the Mod launching, have any idea of how to get around that?

I keep getting "A Serious Error" after quarter an hour of playing. Any fix for this? I haven't used any MOD prior to this one, I reinstalled ZH (from TFD), installed Rotr, patched it to 1.802 and started. There is no mod to Generals either. Any ideas?

What if I want to play the other mods at the same time with Rise of the Reds mod, how can I copy the clean Zero Hour file before I install both mods? Maybe I think copy and paste them into other folder and rename that folder the Zero Hour 1 (for Rise of the Reds mods) and Zero Hour 2 (for other mod). Am I correct?

I think yes. C&C Generals and Zero Hour are the game of EA, but I think Origin is just support for EA about download games by digital. I have this game before (not mods) on Windows XP. Somehow I lost all of them. I will find them and download them to play again and download the mods to play more deadly strategy. ^^

ok is there a different way to install on an already patched zero hour?. I have got command and conquer generals zero hour already patched for no cd. Now after I follow the steps you mention when I click on launch game the screen blackens and then I am back to my desktop and the game does not start? Any ideas? I already have 1.04, and am installing into the right directory. Also I have tried with and without the patch, no dice.

crack the game download a crack (one that isn't malwared AF:)) and install it ..the crack is usually the game.exe modified maybe a couple of .dll s modified also
