Good video guys.. I'm at the end of a shed repair myself. Up to the flashings.. Looks neat with the header flashing... However.. If that lip sits away from the shed and the 90 deg bend goes towards the shed under that header purlin.. Won't that catch the rain?

I'm up to the same part. That's why I'm here now. Im also concerned about rain entering from the top. Is there something special done that I missed on this step?

Would water not run behind the top trim?

Hmm ... How does the water not pour inside on the top flashing?? Shouldn't it slip under the iron at the top?? Perplexed???

Runs down the face of the roller door from my understanding.

For those watching this video who are confused about how the top flashing keeps water out (which was my confusion, like many others who commented before me), fear not - I finally found a video that explains how it works unlike this vid. Just watch the first 30 seconds of this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZTUhWqgecd5q5o

nope .. that doesn't explain it either as there is no wall cladding above the door in your video. Rain will run down the wall and effectively be caught and directed inside???
