That depends on the tolerances of the frame. In reality it is the preload that matters not the position of the ring. If the gap between the ring and the crank becomes too big. One can assemble one additional white spacer to fill it up.

Please find someone to voice the instructions. It's very inconvenient to follow what the hands are doing and read the subtitles in parallel.

I want replace my 3D with this InPower Powermeter! I asked at the Eurobike last year if it is possible without any problems. After you people confirm i could replace it without any complications i have made it! Or i have tried to made it, i did not work! It don't fit in any combination! 👎I made the same at my Open with SRAM and it works without any problems. It is really disappointing.
