Would these work on double shed doors and if so do mice chew thru?

Depending on the door dimensions, you could certainly use of our rubber seals on your shed doors. These seals are made from EPDM Sponge Rubber, which are not "mice-proof." They could certainly chew through the rubber.

how much weight can be applied to this rubber seal? for instance im trying to find a superior product for the mating surfaces of my camper shell and truck bed. I only want to do this once, so it has to support the weight of the campershell and maybe a couple hundred more pounds for the roof rack. any suggestions?

+Fenton Grant The recommended compression for rubber seals is 25% - 40%. To answer your question, it depends on how much seal is being used.  The more seal surface area the more weight it will support. The EPDM Closed Cell Sponge material is the same material that the automotive industry has been using for 50 years.  However, any EPDM sponge products can be over compressed and rendered unusable.   The product Trim-Lok mostly sells to the OEM's is product # X1145HT.
