Thanks…very informative…and well done. I have an older home with sling closet doors that use hardware from the 50s. I may change my mounting system to something like you're using. It’s by far the best solution. I didn’t know that this system was available. It appears to be very easy to install.

Your old doors are technically called bi-fold doors. (A lot of French doors for closets will be *louvered* with slats just like your old bi-fold ones though.)

You will have to predrill holes with concrete drill bit, and grout in fasteners. There are also concrete nail that can work.
