These look super cool! I know there are some custom ones with sequential lights where you have to modify the turn signal wiring, but if one just wanted to get rid of that ugly orange, these are the perfect plug&play solution.

A couple things...first of all, I thoroughly enjoy your videos. The visual modifications you make are very simple and tasteful in my opinion and make the car look a whole lot better. I also don't mind the auto-focus motor noise. I'd rather be able to see what you're doing and hear it than watch you struggle with the focus for a few seconds every time you try to show us something. I was undecided on my next car but I think I want an Si now lol. Definitely subbed. Also, did you ever decide to try out the mustang fog lights on your si?

Nice video. I changed my side markers to the smoked lenses also just a different brand and I put in white JDM Astar LED's bulbs. You should totally do LED's all the way around. I have LED blinkers(front and back), brake lights and the side markers. I bought plug and play resistors from a guy that does KZbin videos and they work great! I have them on my 2015 Accord and 2016 Civic. Best part is they require no wire splicing just plug them in and you're good to go!

First thing I always do is change out the lows, highs and fogs to LEDs, unless yours comes full LED already

I bought those and they keep getting moisture in them. So I took them out and along the outside edge and sealed the seam with clear finger nail polish. No more issues

TTorres1183 I don't know, I bought them on EBay and they say they are Honda JDM part on back. The edge seam got dirt in them too. Putting a better sealer on edge seem might be something to think about.

Now that you've had 'em for a while, have you had any problems with condensation or water getting into them? A BUNCH of reviews for aftermarket side markers complain about poor sealing of the unit. That said, any tips/tricks to prevent water from getting in?

Don't know about yall but I can see the original light better than the aftermarket. If the smoked light shined as bright as the aftermarket then this would be a no brainer upgrade. Maybe the clear markers could be seen better.

Mine only has 2 screws there, and it seems like you did the first one without taking out the 3rd screw so it should be fine. I might look into the under the hood method someone mentioned here

For link if you go to JDM Astar.Com and search amber 7440 you will find it they are super bright the least bright one is 1200 lumens.Make sure you get amber for rear and amber or front for switchbacks.Just get resistor,For resistor I recommend VLEDS VLR 3 with the duo tap smart connector.

i believe the reason for the orange side markers is federal safety regulation, just about all cars have them and it looks horrible.

Government mandate tells all car manufacturers that the cars have to have two in the front amber colored and two in the rear red in color. Thats why they orange.

@@_BLUU_ if you want to be safe. Anytime you work with cars on electrical components you will want to disconnect the battery to avoid shorting things. But I did this already without it multiple times and nothing has happened. It's a very simple thing to do. Look up... unique style racing they have some badass ones and they come in amber or white. With these you don't have to change the bulb as it's already built inside as led.
