On 91, you should definitely be seeing higher numbers then that. The si is marketed at 205, the k tuner, you should already be reaching 240-250 Whp. The cobra intake advertises 20 horsepower gains for the race, 15 for the street. And im not sure about the other mods but you should at least be hitting 270-270
@nielsjacobsen51254 жыл бұрын
@@pigeon1519 the SI is marked 205 at cranck not wheels. The +6 map is no way near 40+50HP on 91 Period. I got a non SI and at +8psi it puts down 216HP with 95 octane(called 100 here in EU) . The intake and intercooler gives more power in the midrange but not at peak, +20HP . Sure he only is going to hit 240-250whp withe the above mods without switching to flexfuel. So mike m you are correct you might be looking at 250 with the mods you have listed, anymore power require turbo or flexfuel.

3:50 : "We've incorporated a larger inlet here to help increase uhh, just velocity..." What? That goes against the fundamental principals of fluid dynamics. A larger diameter pipe will contain a lower velocity fluid than a smaller diameter pipe that's achieving the same volumetric flow rate. Unless you're saying that the velocity OUT of the pipe is increased relative to the intake velocity? In that case, the pipe functions like a nozzle, and it's because the discharge side is narrower than the intake, and not because you made the intake side big.

I suspect that Honda miscalculated the spring pressures or the material for the clutch. My '18 Si has 71,000 mi on it and the clutch slips in 5th and 6th gear above 3,500 rpm if you roll into the boost. I'm pretty sure it's the same clutch that they put in the base model non turbo cars so it just doesn't handle the extra horsepower and torque. Ordered my ACT clutch a couple weeks ago and am just waiting for it to arrive so I can change it and stop worrying about it. I also ordered the lightweight flywheel because I hate the rev hang caused by the heavy weight dual mass piece that comes from the factory.

No its a cvt these mods will destroy your cvt transmission
@MegaHollywood19715 жыл бұрын
For the Sport Touring you can use either tuner device (KTuner / Hondata). You don't need an aftermarket intake, just drop in a higher flow filter. Remember, you are on a CVT and won't be upgrading the turbo. Your exhaust is already seriously good enough and I would not recommend any Downpipe or Frontpipe. You are on a CVT. If you enjoy getting a bit sporty I would suggest an upgraded intercooler - I like the PRL IC with the piping. The Hot Side is 2" (+ .5" over stock) and Cold Side is 2.5" (+1" over stock); that is an optimum set-up when increasing the Volume on the stock IC while increasing PSI. The upgraded IC will significantly lower your Outlet Temps and you will 1) Gain power with increased boost, 2) Not have any pre-detonation or knock, 3) Increase the life of the turbo and the system, and 4) Avoid heat soak altogether. You can try the Tuner by itself, but when you are increasing the PSI you will heat soak much faster than the stock set-up. Besides, the Stock Hot & Cold side charge hoses are only 1Ply. So, THREE things: - High Flow Filter (in stock box) - Tuner - Intercooler

Yes you can! I recommend Ktuner, PRL Cobra cold air intake and RV6/PRL Downpipe.

Totaled my 8th gen over a week ago. Got a nice settlement for my injuries and car. Was thinking about picking up a 10th gen and throw some mods right after the break in period. Any one know the limit to these blocks? Only planing on going I/dp/e and tune

I've got a 2019 civic hatchback sport with the 1.5 turbo motor will these parts work or only the SI??? I'm anxious to start my build but want to do a bit of research before I pull the trigger ?? Would be great to hear about what I should do from you guys?!

Dude I have a 2.0 and auto civic coupe 10th gen I can’t find any performance mods to make it faster
@cappetro3 жыл бұрын
The 2.0 engine isn’t worth upgrading. There’s no turbo and the engine isn’t built to handle much power. You could probably do an intake and exhaust, that’s about it.
