I have a 16 and didn’t have to do any of these steps besides the sway bar and lowering the axels enough to get the spring out

I can’t get my axle to drop down enough to remove spring. Any suggestions?

The frame of truck needs to be higher. Make sure u back it up . I used double jack stands on each side and 6x6 timbers under my running boards to allow enough time to get out just in case. Lower axle slowly I snapped my swaybar links on mine. Putting all back together now . Can wait as I have 35 tires. Contra 22 rims .

I'll definitely repeat @Aceman597's suggestion. The frame needs to be higher to allow that needed spacing for the axle to lower enough.

@@TexasNewMoney I had done these 4 times . Last one I did the other day I made sure truck was high . Had no issues. You may have to disconnect swaybar links. Last lift level kit was 2.5 on my 2015 6.2l. Having multiple Jack's helps also. Once I took a jack and used it between sway bar and frame to spread . I did that on an 08 6 4l 350 .

@@Aceman597 Funny, I have a 2015 6.7 that I plan to do this week. I have had the spacers there for three years now. It's time I get around to leveling. I believe I have everything I need. Only doing the 2in. I tow a pull-behind travel trailer and don't want to bulldog it when towing. Hopefully it all works out.

That I don't know. When I bought the kit I planned to do it myself so I never reached out to any of the local shops to see it they install these kits.

You need an alignment after doing any lift/lower kit
