This past spring we wanted to put our big Pygmy/Boer mix goats to work clearing out Buckthorn on the property and save money on grass feed. With that we need to make a semi permanent enclosure for them using t-posts and 16ft cattle panels. In this video I use a Honda post driver to install the 22 posts to make the enclosure. These things are pricey and can typically be rented at a tool rental center unless you have a lot to do and want to purchase one. For the cattle panels I bought them from my local Tractor Supply, which was a great experience as they let me rent a trailer for free and loaded them on the trailer as well. Only thing I had to do was strap them down. So if you go the route I did be sure to bring ratchet straps. Total cost of the project was a little less than $400.
