How do you fasten the panels when you come to the corners?
@BigbeardMN

@@mtsixspeed great question! I usually run one side a little past the post to use the clips. Then with the other panel I get creative with the pliers and twist clips to tie that panel into the one that was attached to the post. I hope that makes sense!

It's November. I have had 2 of these in basement for about 6 weeks. Nothing. I have a terrier lets us know when he smells a mouse. He hasn't. It's been a warm fall - maybe they are still outside. Last year, I caught 14 mice in a roller bucket in the basement over the winter. The first 4 or 5 were babies, then the adults. Then nothing. I'll be patient. We live in the woods. I've been told, if you don't have mice, you probably have a snake. If I ever see a snakeskin inside, then I'll know for sure.

The interior pockets for gels didn't work for me. They place the gel right against your skin. I ended up with awful cuts from my gels during the chicago marathon. Will not wear them again for racing. Customer service at ten thousand didn't care. For $70 I expected a little more caring from the company - but that's not what you get.
@BigbeardMN

@@79sjstevens79 I hear ya as I too tried to put gels in those pockets and line them up in a away that they didn't rub my skin, but it didn't work for me either. The back pockets works great but that can only hold so many. I ended up using a bib belt and put all my gels in it. Thanks for the comment and congrats on your marathon!

Nice trap but the first windy day I lost the black swing cover. Plus you have to take the cover off to check inside the bucket. I installed 2 small clamp on black swing pivot ends.plus drilled a tiny hole on back off swing & and put a small screw in hole so I could open the swing without taking the cover off. Fill bucket half full off water so in will not blow away.

this guy really does not know what he is doing. if you have ozone and filter you should almost never need to change the water. he already said he changed the water every 2 weeks. this totally defeats to purpose of running ozone. also. you should do aerobic exercises to warm up. something light to stimulate body eat and blood flow. seems like all ego and no real understanding of any of this. also if youre going to do this and want to get the most out of it, look up wim hoff method. almost all of this guys advice is just bad advice.

This is actually a knock-off from a mouse trap invented by Shawn Woods. He has been making mouse and rat trap videos for years. He came up with this trap and of course it has been copied and remade overseas. The original is proudly made in the U.S.A. Shawn has put a lot of thought into it with in-put from the sole manufacturer. He has made many youtube videos.
@BeanieKing
@BeanieKing Ай бұрын
Well, no, Shawn Woods didn't create it, he merely showcased it on his channel. However, the original inventors, Nick and Carl Rinne, were very much inspired by him - so you could say that without his channel, this trap wouldn't exist. But no, someone else put the work into getting it made. AND THEY SELL IT AT MENARDS! There's no reason to pay $34 to ship something in when you can get it for $20 down the damn road...!

Ladder steep angle doesn't seem to matter? I taped an old rag to bucket side, mice climbed vertically up rag. I eould make change to this trap. I would put ladder right in front of trap door, not off to side. Then I'd block off area so mice can't walk around bucket top, only place to walk inside yellow covered baited section?

I followed the instructions on getting a 1/8 roll pin, rolled it through the grinder, and didn't eve have to put a crush on it to do the adjustment. Lowes 2 pack at 98 cents, 2 minutes on the grinder and blower was working perfectly. Thanks for the info.
