Do the holes in the tongue affect how they wear? Or do you just see this as added character

I don't feel any difference so It doesn't bother me that much. Caulk it up to character. Make the day great and thanks for the view!

Ladder steep angle doesn't seem to matter? I taped an old rag to bucket side, mice climbed vertically up rag. I eould make change to this trap. I would put ladder right in front of trap door, not off to side. Then I'd block off area so mice can't walk around bucket top, only place to walk inside yellow covered baited section?

I've bought a couple of the tool sets on Amazon, and they don't come with the correct tool for the Echo blowers. I followed the instructions on getting a 1/8 roll pin, rolled it through the grinder, and didn't eve have to put a crush on it to do the adjustment. Lowes 2 pack at 98 cents, 2 minutes on the grinder and blower was working perfectly. Thanks for the info.

I just bought a viking bone comb. I love it. Got it from Grimfrost. I have been using a pick, a brush, and a regular plastic comb. Not anymore. I am throwing those away and using my bone comb exclusively.

Hi everyone, does anyone knows what might be the cause of this? I got a propane torch and a 20 libs gas tank, I used for few times and it worked perfect, I tried again to use it and it has a very weak flame now. I tried with a 2 libs propane tank and it works perfect. The 20 libs propane tank worked in the beginning and it still nearly full tank, is not empty or anything like that.

How high can mice jump so that they could leave your bucket?
@BigbeardMN2 ай бұрын
Mice have ups like LeBron! Seriously they can jump pretty high for how small they are that's why a 5 gallon bucket is a must.
@alf30982 ай бұрын
@@BigbeardMN Thanks! Unfortunately here in Germany 5 gallon buckets are unknown. Nevertheless such a bucket should be as high as possible.

Now what about the front stirrup looking hanger that has fallen off twice, got run over by the blades once & mangled; let’s the deck fall in front & catch on sidewalks, rocks, and tears up the sod… Doesn’t even have a locking nut, seems cheap
@BigbeardMN3 ай бұрын
I haven't had that break yet and yes it does look and feel pretty cheap. If it's too low it will catch on stuff and I guess I would probably just create a new one out of thicker gage sheet metal and rivet it back on the deck. Thanks for the watch and comment! Have a great one!

@@BigbeardMN my favorite mower / small engine repair guy who fixed machinery at a chip factory, couldn’t find that hanger online, he made a really buff one on a lathe, but then found it online & installed that when I mangled the first one. I just reattached this one (only slightly bent with a ding from a blade) but after I torqued it down GOOD with an impact driver, I couldn’t get the long socket off the nut: it got pinched in the conical hole in the frame piece… if I backed it out, I could remove the 9/16” sockef: but then I think the stupid nut would just vibrate loose again- so I just SUPER torqued it down and left the socket on the mower! I bet it can’t wiggle loose now. Maybe I WILL MAKE a KZbin and call if the “sacrifice a socket solution!”

If you set your mind to it there is little you cant do in your 40s. So many have anxiety about turning 40. They fail to realize that the 40s are the youth of old age. Enjoy it.

I have the same problem with my 2018 F150 Platinum. You all know how expensive this truck was. So far, I’ve had to repair the sunroof, had to replace the cam chain tensioner and phaser, now this frozen door nonsense, and the BIGGEST problem….now a failing transmission (10R80 10-speed trash). A replacement tranny will cost about $7,500 with labor. I had a Tundra prior to this F150 and have regretted buying the Ford since nearly day 1. The worst part is that I knew Ford’s were garbage, but I bought it foolishly thinking they may have improved over the years. I will NEVER buy another Ford and will never let anyone in my house buy one! Done!

Unless these pans belonged to me from the beginning, the first thing I'd do is check to see if any lead was melted in these. If so, throw in trash. Otherwise they are safe to restore and use.

You're going to get some people telling you everything you did wrong. I could do that, but I'm not going to as I remember my first experience restoring cast iron. Great first time and I know you will get better at it with time and practice.

When cleaning an old pan, be sure to remove all old seasoning and rust (Takes some elbow grease). Dry your pans over heat. Dab them dry with paper towels then heat to keep them from immediately beginning to rust. Oil them the instant the heat dries them , then directly into the seasoning process. So important to keep that oxidation from occurring before the seasoning process. After use and cleaning (no soap preferred or mild soap), I always towel dry, then low heat and oil while still warm. When my boys were still at home, they made so many scrambled egg sandwiches, batches of home fries and grilled cheese our medium sized cast pan lived permanently on the back burner of our stove. When they left home, the medium and small pans vanished....A mystery to this day!!!
