Heads up everyone! The latest hogwarts legacy patch broke the game so much that Ascendio literally cannot function anymore! To fix this, you'll want to downgrade your game before the patch and use Ascendio and wait until the devs fix their horrible PC port.

For those who have a 4GB GPU or less than this, sorry but this mod doesn't work for you. I have a GTX 1650 and I've try to play the game with the mod but the fps still dropping a lot, suffering with stuterrings and high use of Ram memory, even in the lowest setting with FSR in window mode. 60 fps or more is a luxury that low spec PC users don't have.

My lenovo ideapad gaming 3, AMD Ryzen 7 4800H, Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti, 16GB Ram, 4GB Vram. Works well with Ascendio mod, recommended settings. I was playing all on low before and still got fps drop from 60 to 30fps. Now I can play on high settings, and still got stable 60 fps. My suggestion is also tweak with nvidia settings as the ascendio mod forum suggest: Unlock your max frame rate in-game (the game looses a few frames if you limit it to 60 with in-game settings for some bizarre reason). Disable V-Sync in-game. Head to your GPU control panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> program settings -> add Hogwarts Legacy if it's not already added. Set - Anisotropic Filtering: 8x. Set - Power Management mode: prefer maximum performance. Set - Vsync: Fast

I found a way to fix that stuttering problem and it's the streaming pool size set to 3072 by the mod. Since I am using a 2 GB VRAM, setting it to 1024 would do it, even though it's beyond my VRAM capacity, at least I can play with considerable graphics.

what this thing doesn't tell are: It'll permanently effects your Monitor's settings, it'll ruin the monitor SRGB, Texture, Hz and even the Firmware making everything look like potato rig. weird part is that it'll even affects the graphics even watching CGI or Game videos looks like 'potato" (I don't know how but it some how permanently disable all those graphics effects) _Note: even if you uninstall this Mod it already permanently have damage your monitor's Firmware settings. _Don't Install this MOD!

@@KerotexX it would be the size of the game. You could just back up the save files instead. Also if anything does go wrong the back up would help people with slow wifi so you wouldn’t have to redownload the game again
