You guys really need to include better instructions and the proper tightening sequence when tightening the block down to the cold plate… I was shocked when I read on Facebook that no where in this guys owners manual did it mention about proper tightening sequence.. just because you have a torque screw driver does not mean you can’t skip that working inwards to outwards to provide equal clamping force across the cold plate..

sorry for the VERY late reply, but yes it will work. It doesn't matter if it's the reference model or AIB model. They are both the exact same thing. The only reason AIB models clock higher is because they have better cooling and allow for higher clocks at similar temps to the reference.

What good is this video if they can not deliver ! Ordered for Red Devil in December. When asked about the delivery date, you are only stalled with meaningless answers. EkWB should not forget that they have been working with our paid money for more than 2 months now. With the mass of buyers, a good amount of interest is collected. As already noted in other comments, the assembly instructions are not error-free.
