You don't have to remove the IO-Bracket. Screw in the screws back to the cooler so they are safely stored. You need the cooler for warranty and to resell the card later.

Hi Archetype do you know what’s the difference between RGB and GRB? Because I bought a Deepcool RGB Converter (5V to 12V) and the label on the 12V one is labeled GRB. Shouldn’t it be labeled as RGB instead?

I have never heard of GRB before, I just looked up the product and I assume it’s the same with 12VRGB

it's funny that with a watercooling block you can make your 3 slot GPU single-slot but the side-bracket will still occupy 3 slots =)

Im thinking about putting 1 on a zotac rtx 4080. I cant put 1 on my rtx 4070ti, there is no ekwb waterblock for it. So im selling my rtx 4070ti, its a great card though. I just missed the chanche to buy a rtx 4090 zotac new for 1839 euro😢. Should i wait for the supercards?

Mainly depends on what you like and what you want in your system. For us personally, we love building custom loop water cooling systems and we enjoy the entire process from start to finish. The water cooling solutions is definitely overkill for average users, if you like how the system looks with waterblock and tubing, I’d say go for it!

just finished installing the block and the io support is a joke, the card now HAS to go vertical mount on my case. (the io bracket had 4 screws, 2 vertical with the pcb and 2 horizontally on the cooler/chassis, now it has only the 2 vertical on the pcb and its super flimsy and dangerous to break it with the pcb (4090 liquid x)

Don't pull your GPU's PCB from the cooler like in 3:05, that's very dangerous. Take more care and do it gently.
