To make it easier to add a mod to the ATS "mod" folder in ATS in Documents, just make a shortcut and drag it to your desktop. Then you can either cut or copy from when you downloaded the mod to and get it in the ATS "mod" folder easier. You guys made some really nice Legacy mods. Thanks.

I am using WinRAR, but you should be able to use any unzipping utility that opens a .rar file.

After adding parts to the western star and leaving out I get kicked all the way out the game

It should be a packed (zipped) file .rar is the extension. You unzip that and then simply move the .scs file, without trying to open it, into your mods folder as shown in this video. Windows has a habit of associating an .scs file as opening with notepad, but there is no need to open it.

1. Download the .rar file - 2. Extract the rar to a folder, you should have the .scs file and two templates. 3. Copy the scs file and Paste it into C:\Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod (provided this is the path to your mods on your computer). Now Open ATS. 4. Go to Mods - You should see the truck on the left side, select it, push the --> arrow to place it in Active Mods. You might choose to move it down the priority list if you have map mods, etc. Click Save that configuration and go into the game. Now select Buy New Truck, select Freightliner dealer, Buy Online (if your level allows) and then when the truck window opens, slide to the right to find the Legacy Sleeper version and then Customize Configuration.

@4kGaming Channel It may appear to Windows as a notepad file, but if you right-click it and check properties, the file extension will read: ".scs"
