I like the camera for the Parking Collision option but I dont like it enough to start soldering and stripping existing cables. For now I'll just keep parking away from everyone in the garage.

Is there a rear camera available? I really like this system. Seems much better than try to down load to a smart phone.

I just did this today. I actually undid the wires and rewire them instead of soldering them. Do you know if it's possible to pause the recording?

Is it possible to have the 520 as a dash cam and the cmos 320 as a back up on a dmx 9706s. I have to 520 installed and working great but just installed the 320 but it works just like a normal backup except I can change the view with the button it comes with. I can't change any of the settings. Or can you only have one smart camera with enhaced controls?

I have a drv n520 with ddx9905S and I only have Forward Collision and Departure Delay warnings in the menu. No Lane Departure warning to turn on or off. How is that possible? I have my 9905s on the latest firmware but I couldn't find any updates for the n520 camera. What gives???

Will the dash cam automatically display on the kenwood receiver when you put the vehicle in drive ?
@isaiahwm3 жыл бұрын
No, but depending on the unit there is a camera button that will allow you to select all or any of your camera inputs
@Dentinvent4 жыл бұрын
I see that you hard wired the yellow , red and black wires for power but what are the two outputs on the back of the unit that are labelled cam + and cam - for ?

@@isaiahwm do you know which position they're in on the back of the head unit? I have a unit I bought second hand, and there are no cam wires coming from the head unit, meaning my CMOS 320 is working just not view switching

Hi Armen, suggest reading the instruction manual for this or email kenwood direct for some more information regarding the way it records and saves files. Hope this helps.

New message to: allanzshop Hi Great video I was able to do the install OK but have one question. Do you have any ideas why I cannot get the onscreen operating buttons to show up on screen? I have the camera installed and working using the manual buttons on the camera but I do not get the option to access the onscreen. So I cannot use any of the features of the dashcam IE lane departure warning etc. I have linked the dashcam to my Kenwood Head Unit model DDX920WDABS. I have checked and doubled checked the settings but feel I must be missing something.
