Hey! I just wanted you to know that I used your video as a guide to install the REDARC TowPro Elite and it was so simple! Thanks to your video, of course. I ordered a Mopar but it was back-ordered w/ no arrival date availalbe. I ordered the Redarc and had it in-hand in 3 days! Picking up a new camper 1/3/24 - my first - so I had to have it NOW! Not a NIKE bitch, just could not wait for a controller until Feb or Mar. Mounted the knob where you did and am totally happy with it. Just hope it works (I did plug into a friends camper to check my install and got lights) and just can't wait to plug in my NEW camper. Bye-bye tent!

Great tips on the RedArc, I'm installing that unit and harness in my 2021 Gladiator for my off-road trailer I am building with the Timbren 3500 suspension and electric brakes. Heads up on the Jeep flares. I added them to my Gladiator Mojave (Mopper says they don't fit, nothing fits the Mojave, lol) however they do with a little extra care and some drilling. They are contoured to fit JK Rubicons and Willys, I am not sure if they will fit Sport or Sahara models because the various models have a different lower fender trim design, ie: wider fenders on Rubicon and Willy's vs Sports and Saharas. They do use a plastic rivet, which requires a special tool, I drilled the holes larger and used heavy duty push style pins (like the ones that hold the grill across the top of the engine bay. If you have the time at OverlandNTH I can show you them.

Hey Randy, I was nervous about it, but it ended up being very easy. Also, the installation of the dial ended up not looking too bad. The thing I learned afterwards was that I am still able to fit items like coffee cards into the cubby. Cheers

Hey Dino, thank you for this video. I decided to order the same and will be installing it tomorrow. I am wondering how well the control button stayed in place with the friction fitting? Before you sold the Jeep, did you have to do anything else to it or did it stay there for you?

Hi Dino, i do not have a tow package that came with my jeep but i had installed the mopar trailer tow wiring harness. I don’t see the 7 pin connection above the brake, what do i do?

You’ll need to install a 7 pin wiring harness or have it done. I hope that helps. Cheers

My question so I don’t pay stupid installer money: if I order the JL-specific wire harness, there is no additional wiring ? (I have the tow package) The installation is entirely plug & play? Thanks so much!

Yes. That is correct. By buying the JL specific harness, you plug one end into the trailer brake controller and then the other into the Tow Package plug located up under the dash above the brake pedal. I hope that helps.
