How To Install The Subwoofer Box In a Smart Car

I just installed the JL Audio stealth version of this thing. It sounds almost like having two 12's. The JL is a lot more expensive but worth it if you like to listen to hip hop. I have a 3 channel, 500 watt amp running the car.

The problem occurs when installing the subwoofer box under the dash since it does NOT FIT EASILY even with everything out of the way. It's also the case in the video which is why the video was cut at 1:36. Apparently it is not as easy as they make it seem. There's lots of space under the dash but the dimensions of this box are not good...I would suggest buying another subwoofer enclosure. Also the important information is missing like basic wiring and routing and installation tips.

Not feeding the trolls, but do you really need 0-60 in 4 seconds in a city setting? Besides, what it lacks in speed, it makes up in maneuverability. Often the big-ass buff wide BMW's that roll through Beverly Hills and large Mustangs get trapped in the traffic conditions. It's nice when some bozo is hugging the right lane left line, and you can slide by without crossing the other side. And Metro busses, well, I can go right by. That super fast sports car? Stuck. So practical in practical places, is all. Plus, I move fast enough for the city. Trust me. Many of those faster cars end up right next to me after they waste gas for 2.5 miles, when gridlock catches up. I know they definitely beat me to the gas station!

@PWNER3 Ugghh, I wasn't saying the Smart car was faster than a muscle car.... I was saying that it makes more sense AND is fast, not SUPER fast, but relatively. If you don't like Smart cars don't watch the video.

@madjimms That's irrelevant. My first comment was about so-called POS "muscle" cars. Why are you talking about sedans? The average american muscle car for 2010 (camaro, mustang, challenger) does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. Next time you think about saying someone has "shitforbrains" look at yourself first.

First of all, its NOT fast. with a top speed of 90mph and 0-60 in 12.8 secs it is SLOW. (updated 0-60 time found on smart.com) I watched the vid bc I was interested in what setup they would use in a car like this. bottom line, don't talk about things you don't have any knowledge about. And don't call people trolls and "dumbshitforbrains" it makes you look like an idiot.
