Awesome. Was looking at getting a passport as a second kayak, light etc but not being able to pull the rudder from seat was concerning. Good upgrade.

Can't find these rudder upgrade kits anywhere... so sick of not being able to raise or lower the rudder from my seat.

At 1:05, see that white rod that goes through the kayak? How do you replace that? How do you get it through the kayak? Please? Thanks

@lonestartrek open up the middle hatch right in front of you, while you'resitting in the yak. You may need a friend to help. Take a look in there w your head as best you can. It just goes from the steering handle, free, through the hole in back. Maybe use a rod, or have a buddy help geed it to you

@SanDog We just upgraded our Heroes On the Water fleet up here in WA. We have 8 new 12ft Passports. Do you think it makes a huge difference to have the bigger rudder? Also, does it affect Stacking/Nesting multiple Passports? We stack them 3 high I the trailer.

It definitely affects the nesting but I do believe you could stack 3 high if you left the rudders down. Maybe get like a 1' section of pool noodle slid it down the middle. Slide it on the rudders. And yes it definitely makes a difference my buddy has one on his and there's a lot more responsive

How much do you charge for a 4 hour trip? Just curious on your charter fees. I have a Perception Pescadore 12.0 pedal drive.That I was wanting to use. Trying to get onto the March yellowfins. According to the internet that's next month. You probably know what's up. When is a good time for better luck on the tuna?

For the guide service (when you bring your own yak) it's 150. Not really a big window for yellowfin tuna on the yak. Buy if you're wanting Yellowtail... that starts in March
