Tile backer boards are ideal for wooden floors but it would depend on how they are elevated

What adhesive are you using to stick to timber boards

We used BAL Flex One Tile Adhesive here but you can use most flexible cement based tile adhesives

Yes they can be fixed on floorboards with screws & washers
