Only reason they place the jack back on the tongue is so your tailgate doesn't hit it. .

Not sure I'd want to drill holes in the tongue. That creates a potential weak spot/cracking area. I'm thinking of getting a similar box, but I'd rather weld mine on.

You can weld them, it’s a good idea! I just bolt them for when I replace them.

It is not making a weak spot or cracking LMAO. That is a tiny hole. Perfectly normal. Frames like Trucsk have holes in them so you can bolt the Bed of the Truck down to the frame for example. LMAO

@@MR.TOYBOX Those holes in truck frames are engineered to be there. these holes that are drilled are not engineered to be there, so that analogy does not work here.

They make U bolts that go around the frame so you dont have to drill through it.

Cut the handle off and use drill to raise/lower. 1/2 works best under load

I have had the trailer for two years and hauled a lot car, truck and vans and have not had a problem, you could wield it on if you wanted.
