The chock on my 24mm nibbi carburator doesn't stay in open position. After starting the engin chock close up by itself by vibration of engin. Any advice how to fix it?

pull it up harder till it clicks, then when warm (1-2 minutes) adjust air/fuel and idle ratio till you have no bog or smoke:)

nibbi has auto adjustment when you start it cold with choke off itll idle high then go to normal once tuned right

Purchased that same carb. My choke wont stay in the upright position like yours demonstrated. So when i pull it up it springs back down

You need to pull it straight up until it snaps which locks it in position

not necessary. everyone i know removed theirs and still runs fine. the mechanics also say it's not necessary for road going motorcycles.

Nibbi your carbs are beautiful but I've been getting nothing but failure with the needle seat. This is my second one and I decided to adjust the tang but I noticed the needle has the dreaded ring and is allowing a tab bit more fuel in and it's leaking small drops from the over flow.. Guys please fix this, I'm all for tuning and adjusting to what my engine needs but I shouldn't have to buy new parts to make something work that was purchased new

i have a pwk 24 that idles high on choke and dies off choke, but then once running with throttle blipping to keep it going the idle is all over the show

Your carb is tuned too lean. The choke allows it to get enough fuel to run, but it dies after you turn off the choke, because it leans out too much to run. It's not getting enough fuel. Richen the mixture with a bigger jets, by adjusting the carb mixture screw, adjusting the needle height, all of the above, or get a different carb that can deliver the fuel needed. Maybe a 26mm, but note going too rich will cause issues too. You should do some research, and see what others do to tune their carbs with the same engine you have, and start from there.

I'm trying to tune my sons xpro storm 125cc with the 22mm carb and having trouble. Where is the factory idle screw set from the factory?

The 1 that's in the video for 1.5 turns out after being screwed completely in. It's also in the instructions.

@@brian6029 The mixture screw and idle screw are 2 very different things. Why give advice if you have no clue?

The idle screw can be backed all the way off, and then screwed in watching the round slide. Once it starts moving it's at the bottom of it's adjustment, and you can increase it from there. If you go all the way in and back it out 1.5 turns your son's bike is going to run across the yard when you try and start it, because that adjustment is for the air fuel mixture.

the red know wheel you see on the side of it if you the idle turning it right increases idle turn it left lowers the idle. you might need to adjust the idle as you tune the air/fuel screw that is just under the red wheel to the left.

I'm pretty much sure you got idle screw and pilot screw information wrong. Amazon says red nob is air fuel ratio and idle screw is the screw you said is pilot screw. Amazon diagram shows this. And I'm pretty sure I can verify that because I adjusted it with low fuel, idle went up . Then when I filled tank up fuel flooded out my bike, then I had fuel dumping out carb. So when I turned red nob to right I was adding more fuel, idle went up, Just be aware. Read manual to find out. Someone please verify if I'm correct.

the red wheel knob is the idle sir and the little screw under it to the left of it is the air/fuel screw. For the screw Right (clockwise tightens = less fuel) and left loosens it (counterclockwise) = more fuel. For the red wheel knob turning it right increases idle and turning it left decreases idle

Start with the small one if engine is stock. If it has a larger piston or cams, then medium, if larger piston and cams the the larger one.

@@unyieldingrage1389 206cc engine. Sounds like he "could" be for vague. Depending on the 206cc engine it may or may not work, so "could" is the correct answer. The real question is should someone who doesn't know engines enough to know what carb is compatible be putting a new carb on said engine?

Check out my comment. I just had this issue. I'm pretty sure what he said is idle screw is air fuel mixture. So when i" turned up idle" i was dumping fuel in. Yeah idle went up. But once I filled gas tank it caused a fish thank siphon effect and dumped out my bike. Then it was dumping out carb. I turned it back down and it stopped over flowing fuel. My guess is you should always adjust carb with full tank to identify any issues. And half a tank I didn't have any issues that I know of.
