As far as I can tell the theme doesn't allow you to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. I believe the only way to do that is to modify the code and convert each temperature reading manually. The file that contains the relevant functions is located in library/sensors/sensors_python.py

Hi Phazer. Nice video, very useful for me. I used this display with the turing app in windows10, worked like a charm first try. Now I'm dualbooting to linux because I want to go full inux when windows 10 will be EOL and I can't/don't want to use Win11 on this "old" pc. I'm currently using Garuda (arch based, KDE) and I've been able to install and configure the turing app, everything seems to be working fine but the tray icon doesn't works. It shows a green icon with no image and by clicking nothing happens. Right clicking does not show a menu and as I move the mouse out of the icon the right click gets registered on the thing I move the mouse yo (ie: the tray bar or the desktop). If I want to close the program I have to manually kill the turing/python process in the terminal. Is there a way to get the tray icon functionality? Thanks in advance
@PhazerTech4 ай бұрын
I'm not sure. It might be something related to a recent update in KDE, since Arch based distros are running the newest versions of software. Might also be related to Wayland, but it's hard to say. Perhaps try X11 instead of Wayland and see if it works. Also I'd post an issue on the github page so that the creator can look into it.

Not a genius, but I would guess it's a COM problem - they are both configured to COM3 probably. If you go to Device Manager, look for Ports (COM & LPT). You will probably see two devices on COM3. On one of them (I would try the second one), go to Properties / Ports / Advanced and change its port number to something else. Reboot and see if that works.

If this does not work, try making sure that both devices are plugged into different USB hubs on your motherboard. Maybe one on a 2.0 port and one on a 3.0 port.
